About the Instructors…

Aaron Farmer, Vice President
With a degree in Marketing from The Mays Business School at Texas A&M University in College Station and an MBA from Texas A&M University – Commerce, Aaron brings to The Retail Coach knowledge of the most current research on retail and marketing trends. Prior to joining The Retail Coach, Aaron was employed in marketing research and retail development where he worked on projects for some of America’s leading retailers and restaurants including FedEx, Kinkos, Sally Beauty Supply, Adidas, Concentra and the National American Association of Subway Franchises (NAASF). Mr. Farmer’s expertise touches each step of a project from the initial trade area determination to the actual recruitment of retailers. A native of Keller, Texas, he is a sought after speaker for industry organizations including the Texas Municipal League, Texas Economic Development Council, Illinois Municipal League and Tennessee Municipal League.

Austin Farmer, Project Director
Austin Farmer’s education and professional experience are capitalized by his understanding of the most current market research trends, retail strategies and small business development. A graduate of Texas A&M University in College Station, Austin received both an undergraduate degree in Marketing and a certificate in Entrepreneurial Leadership from Mays Business School. He was also named one of the top 50 most influential leaders on campus. Prior to joining The Retail Coach, Austin helped develop ecommerce strategies at GameStop Corp., the world’s largest video game and software retailer. With extensive experience in consumer marketing and the entrepreneurial aspect of retail, Austin is uniquely qualified to help build stronger communities through retail recruitment and strengthening existing retail businesses. Austin has also been a guest lecturer at Texas A&M University’s Mays School of Business and sits on the Board of Directors for The Community Storehouse in Keller, Texas.
